Senior Relationship Management Representative

Business Development/Sales


Under minimal supervision the Senior Relationship Management Representative ensures that the customer is satisfied with company projects and services. Partners with clients to cultivate future projects and qualify new opportunities. Consults with other team members (project management/ services/ support/ customer care) to be sure mutual objectives are met. Minimal business travel or work outside of the office is required.


  • Ensures client account satisfaction, account growth, and recommends expansion of services provided. Sustains customer loyalty for a group of key customers.
  • Manages relationships with various management levels, divisions, and functional departments of assigned managed accounts.
  • Provides value propositions, handles objections, prepares quotes, and closes sales by getting prospects’ commitments.
  • Ensures that schedules and budgets are met according to contractual agreements.
  • Reviews and maintains information, including business plan, from managed accounts to understand their purchase decision makers, decision making process and criteria, business opportunities and threats.
  • Responds effectively to urgent and sensitive customer issues.
  • Solves complex customer issues that have been escalated. Directs customer issues to appropriate business support when necessary. Ensures that customer issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Coaches and mentors junior sales staff on effective account management skills and sales processes.
  • Supports junior staff in the identification and evaluation of important customer information.
  • Performs other duties as directed.


University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors Degree) in a related field plus generally fiveyears of directly related experience.

Ability to communicate effectively and concisely.

Demonstrated ability to execute projects to achieve stated objectives.

In-depth knowledge of objectives, processes, and procedures of the applicable subunit(s)of the organization.

In-depth knowledge of sales processes (i.e. people, systems, and processes)Minimal business travel required.

Fluent in English and Japanese required.
